That means there is no heat-affected zone, no thermal warping, and no change to the temper or hardness of the material. For many steel, stainless, aluminum, and specialty alloy parts, waterjet cutting also reduces the need for secondary grinding or cleanup.

Waterjet, CNC Cutting, and Fabrication Support

Most of our metal cutting work is completed on our abrasive waterjet because it combines strong edge quality with material flexibility. For projects that need more than flat cutting, Interwest also offers in-house fabrication support, including CNC press brake bending with a 175-ton, 12-foot Accurpress brake. Keeping cutting and forming under one roof helps reduce handoffs, shorten lead times, and keep tolerances consistent from cut part to formed component.
